hows the battery in your remote? could be your problem, i've got a viper and it goes thru batteries like you wouldn't believe.

passenger side door locks automatically after driving at 20-30km/h, is this what you mean by "doesn't unlock anymore"?

or are you unable to unlock the passenger side when you have stopped?

if the alarm still arms / disarms then the actuator in the drivers door has come loose.

R33's didn't come with an actuator in the drivers door, and the passenger door doesn't lock / unlock unless the drivers door does.

The actuator is hooked onto the metal rod that controls the door locking mechanism.

If the actuator is not grabbing this rod properly, then this problem can happen.

If you can hear the actuator moving from lock to unlock position, but the lock itself is not moving, then this sounds like the problem...

If not, then it is probably something else.

door skin? the bit with the window controls? cos when i move the unlock bit on that it unlocks etc.

Sorry - door trim.

The whole thing on the inside.

Once you get it off, you will see an actuator with a thin metal rod coming out of it.

That rod is connected to another via a small bracket that uses screws to hold them together with friction. This bracket will be loose and you will need to tighten it.

there is a screw in the handle, covered by a plastic cap. remove that.

Then I believe there are screws at the bottom of the door trim, remove those.

Then I believe the control panel pops out (with a bit of force), and the door trim needs to be poped off. Once you have poped all the clips on the trim, lift it, and pull out to remove.

There may or may not be plastic covering the door at this point, careful not to damage it. Look around for the actuator (most likely black) but it is a plastic thing with a rubber boot on the end that has the rod connected. Then follow previous instructions.

install door trim the opposite way you removed it.

    • From the pictures I have when doing the job the flywheel is the same diameter, I don't think they're playing weird tricks like putting weights at the outer diameter to increase flywheel inertia or anything like that. The OEM flywheel is definitely heavier, but it's not a huge difference. Quoted weight savings of the clutch is 2 kg so I can't imagine the flywheel being lighter than ~7 kg. Kind of regret not weighing it before the clutch went into the car but as far as driveability goes I have no complaints.
    • HKS trigger kit should be very easy to integrate with a Link. It's a 36-2 crank trigger. Hard part is finding the motivation to take off the timing belt and everything on the front of the engine to install it. You also need to cut out a hole in the oil pump housing so the sensor can read the trigger wheel. Changing out the cam sensor for a 24 tooth setup is probably good enough but as others have mentioned depending on what underlying assumptions are changed it becomes more of a problem. Reading the crank state off of the cam is an abstraction that works in the general case, but if you have an edge case it makes less and less sense. There is a GTX2860 gen 2 that can take a compact 5 bolt housing so it's direct bolt on but I'm not 100% sure of what's involved. Peak compressor efficiency drops off a bit on these turbos vs -5s, 77% vs 73% but you get way, way wider region of operation. The -5s have a really strange surge line in their compressor map that is all over the place. If you think the hot side on the -5s aren't open enough you can try the Tomei T550B turbos which a local tuner seems to be happy with:
