R32 Gearbox oil change?

Hey guys,

My gearbox is leaking from what looks like the speedo sender area.

When I get it fixed i'm looking at doing a oil change too. How much am I looking at for a Gearbox oil change? Labour and oil? Is it a job that can be done yourself?

if its a GTR its leaking from the transfer case...if a GTS its from the gearbox. The speedo sender has an o-ring to seal it. might need to replace it.

Some jack stands and basic tools are all you require to repair it.

You need an oil pump/squeeze thing to put more oil in. Gearbox oil change probably cost about $50, more if you want special oil.

Don't think my car would be going up those ramps, too low.

That's why I will probably have to get someone to do it, need a hoist.
