Retarding base timing. R33 - which way to rotate CAS?

I just wanted to retard the timing 1-2 deg. I will put my timing light on it on the weekend. But with standard dizzys I think I rotated the sizzy body clockwise so the rotor arm contacts and fires each sparkplug later. Hence retarding the timing.

Do you rotate the CAS clockwise to retard timing??
