Hope someone can help!

Lately when braking, there is a very noticable "click" coming from the pedal area... I can feel it in my foot as well as hear it. It only happens when pushing down hard and is more noticable when stationary... doesn't "click" when the cars not running. Any ideas??? really don't want my brakes to fail!!

If it is a creaking sort of noise, it usually means you have air in your brake lines.

If you have had your brakes changed recently, who ever installed them didn't bleed your brake lines properly.

It could be something more, get it checked out - these are your brakes!

Maybe a faulty brake switch? That clicks when the switch is pushed in? Check around the brake pedal and push the pedal in with your hand with your ear close to see if you can hear any noticeable clicking noise. Doubt it would be air in the lines. Pads maybe but I would bet on that its something in the brake pedal itself.
