Woops, forgot to update this. Exotic didnt put a in muffler. They only put in a resonator and that has removed the drone but they put a removable silencer to get me down to 90dB. With the silencer in, the car feels only a little better than stock but take the silencer out and its like when the exhaust just got done (bloody awesome).

So resonator just removes drone or does it also reduce the loudness?

I'm thinking of going a CES twin dump + getting Jack Beedhams at Redcliff to fit the rest (hiflo cat, 3 inch mild steel, resonator, a muffler (not cannon). Wondering if that will be quiet enough cos it will save me $500 compared to a full CES system.

Like to keep the stock muffler for my sleeper look but prob too restrictive.

Resontator reduces the drone but only a little of the loudness. It doesn't seem restrictive at all. I've got a split dump pipe and hiflow cat etc. The only restriction is the end (silencer). I reckon that the standard muffler should be fine. The only thing is at high revs, u'll hear the gas rushing through the little holes. See what Jack Beedham say but they'll probably say get a stainless twin tip muffler with the 3 inch inlet. Still whatever you get, I'd get them to either test the loudness or say/write that it is a legal system (unless you're willing to risk it).
