Ok I really want to get out and have a go at a track day. A week ago I went out and bought a new helmet and was planning on going out to the track that weekend but I cam across a little problem no rather a big problem. When I sit in my 33 my helmet hits the roof, and as you could imagine it is very uncomfortable just sitting there. I would hate to feel what it like while driving around a track.

There has to be a cheap alternative to get the problem fixed with out buying a fixed racing seat. So that’s were I need your help.

Is there a way to lower the standard 33 seat.

It would be much appreciated for some help.

there are two circular things on the side....one adjusts the front of the seat and the other adjusts the rear...

it lowers the seat slightly... try that first...

Haha, you are a bit taller than me I suppose, but I used to fit! Try what Eug said, otherwise not sure, gtr seats are definately lower.

heh...same happens for me i didn't realise until i was in the car ready to drive out on the track

Try tilting the seat back a little, and dragging it forwards (though this not the best option as far a keeping your hands on the wheel is concerned
