Shaun, it looks as if the end crimping is locking it in, as you can see the core slightly crushed at the ends... so yeah the welds and minor crush left will hold it if we cut it back.

G'day, anybody group buying 4" cats still?

i heard that these cats dont pass epa tests. some thing about emission levels being too high due to the stainless mesh inside, i was given the impression that the mesh had to be ceramic coated.

anyhow i would be interested in seeing the results of a power test and an epa test.

not trying to put a downer on the group buy as many people have bought them, just wanted to clear it up

just a question when measuring the 3.5 inches where are we measuring from? bolt to bold? or the sides of the pipe?
