My clutch...

Okay,

this is mainly for bart, (as i know he doesnt always get back to people who send pm...),

anyways,

i just wanna know what type of warranty there is on your clutches u fit?

mine was only fitted in january, and its f*&ked already!

now, its 'supposed' to be a heavy duty clutch, and yet in less than 6 months its already died, and the previous standard clutch i had lasted a hell of a lot longer than that, and i drove it the same way.

if anyone (including bart) can enlighten me on this please do asap.

dude - i probably just needs the flywheel re-machined I doubt the clutch itself would be buggered only after such a short time

Mikrz, Are you sure you don't need the pedal adjusting, I'd be surprised if you had wrecked a heavy duty clutch in 6months.

no 'fat stinking burnouts' this time...

i drive spiritedly, but i have not changed my driving habbits from when i had my old standard clutch. im gonna be quite pissed off if it is the actual clutch, cus there is no way that it shoulda gone that quickly.

i mean ive probably only done maybe another 10,000kms in the car since ive had the clutch i think (and i did take it easy for the first five hundred kms i had the clutch installed.)

the flywheel was re-machined when the clutch was installed, so that SHOULD be okay aswell i assume.

it feels just as it did when it was starting to slip last time...

doesnt feel any different to when it went before.
