Power to head unit

I replaced my 35w x 4 Japanese head unit with a Pioneer 50w x 4. The yellow 'battery' cable is fairly thin, just a tad thicker then the other wires in the loom.

Is there any need to replace this with a thicker cable from the battery, or would this be sufficient to power the head unit?
