URGENTLY req'd! Sticky rubber!!

G'day! With a trackday looming FAST (this coming Monday the 13th),I really need some sticky rubber. I'm really not up for a brand new set (somewhere between $1K and $2K for reasonable stuff..),so was wondering if anyone had some slightly/mildly used tyres that they would depart with for reasonable $$$'s? I'd need either 245/45/17 or 235/45/17's in something STICKY and road legal,as it's about to be double points and all that associated glaring attention it brings,especially aroung the Police State that is Goulburn. Obviously,I'll need 'em before Friday so I can get 'em fitted and balanced before promtly tearing 'em to shreds on Monday,hence the call-out for help! Normally I'd post this in the "wanted to buy" section,but as time is running out,and the tyres must be had locally...Anyone? Pleeeeaaase?!?

hahah no tyres for you! you don't need the help. See you on Monday and good luck finding some rubber.....you really should buy some proper ones like re55s, they will last a few days and are great to drive on.

Ah,it's all good! If I can't find something,my new Pirelli P Zero's will just have to take a beating...LOL! Being that the Dutton Rally is over,here's hoping... I will get around to some new tyres;more likely when I get a second set of rims...

I dont know if this is what your after, but i have some falken rubber, cant remember the series but theyre 235/40/R17 and 255/45/R17... theyre off my old work rims which i stuffed..

he would need the same rubber all round dayne eg 4 x 235/45/17 or 4 x 255/45/17

Apparantly Tempe have Falken RS-V04 semi slicks in stock in various sizes, 255/40/17's being ~$240 a tyre. This is only hearsay, give them a call and find out, could have them shipped overnight, and fitted tomorrow if you were real keen

Still looking Jayce but having no luck. I found some 16's going cheap but thats no good . $550 for tyres on S14 rims.
