Gtr Blow Off Valves - Do They Leak?

Someone who runs a workshop in Sydney (well referred by others, by all accounts knows his stuff and doesn't sell parts) has told me that R32 GTR bovs are not the greatest. That conflicts with everything I've read about them, has anyone tested and come across a leaky unit before?

highly unlikely. But there is always the chance something isnt 100%

considering they are what Ice Performance and Race Pace Motorsport uses on both thier big HP cars and many many others. Even if they are not a GTR, the supra runs the GTR BOV's also without problem. So most of the time they are the perfect thing to use (if they are in workin order)

If they're good enough for the second fastest GT-R in Australia, then im sure they'll be just fine for you

not sure how they would leak.

they are designed to have equal pressure on both sides on the diaphragm when under boost, therfore remain closed.

they will open under idle/low vacuum but nothing wrong with having them recirculating under those conditions anyway.

bov market is a joke.

Never had them leak on any GTR.. even running big boost.

I have had name brand, HKS and Blitz ones leak however.
