Currently my car, a gun metal 1992 model R32 GTR, is undergoing a rebuild (has been at ICE since Jan). I am strengthening the bottom end and using weisco forged pistons. Also upgrading oil and water pumps. I had plans for it, but quite frankly i am over it. Dont get me wrong, I love her, but I'm just not interested in it anymore.

things currently on the car:

Apexi power fc

Apexi Front strut brace

HKS turbo timer

HKS Super Dragger cat back

18' ROH Drift R with 265/35/18 on all 4

R33 GTR brembo front and rear brakes

lowered springs

Excedy twin plate clutch (done 5,000kms on it since i bought it)

ARC intercooler (bought seprate from car)

K&N air pods

R34 N1 turbos

Alarm with keyless entry

Sony Cd player

Dont think there is anything else that i have missed. Car has made 307.4awkW. I dont know what it will have when the engine is complete. It shouldnt be too much longer til its done...awaiting the arrival of pistons. I havent had the car that long...and have only done 5000kms (sept 04 - jan 05)since i bought it. I also have a 6 point Cusco roll cage, Trust A pillar twin gauge holder, and Apexi carbon fibre front and rear strut braces which i have never fitted to the car. The body and paint is in excellent condition. Car can be viewed at anytime at Ice Performance in Cheltenham. I can provide receipts of everything i have paid for as well as what the previous owner has.

I am looking at selling her for about $36,000 but i am open to negotiations. Price may seem high but its a starting point. If you want to make me an offer feel free, but be realistic as the car owes me in the higher end of the $40k mark. So no lowball offers like $20,000. I'm also not interested in trades either. I want to get rid of this car as soon as i can so i am very flexible.

So dont hesitate to call me if you have any other enquiries. You can also respond to the thread or pm me.

You can reach me on 0419 583 110.

Glenn

***EDIT***

I will keep the car for a little while. I have had a few offers, all slightly too low. Thanks for the interest though. Spending all that money on the rebuild, I might as well drive the bloody thing for the time being.

Dude I am interested, but not in the 30,s. I appreciate the car has had alot of work done and good work at that but the price of these things is amazing. If you can send some more pics to [email protected] and I will be in touch in regards to negotiating a price. Thanks mate.

Hey Glenn. Spoke to you the other day in regards to sending me some more pics. I have been thinking about the car and I dont know the reason for selling but I think if you sell you are going to either have to be patient for the right buyer or sell and lose some money and probably a fair bit unfortunately. I leave on wednesday for 3 weeks holiday so if you could send me some pics to [email protected] and I can have a think about how much I legitimately want to offer you for the car. Good luck with the sale and I am sure you are pissed for having to sell it. Thanks.

no probs mate....have to get the pictures from another computer, but i will send them to you anyway. i am not so much in a hurry to sell it anymore, but either way i do lose a fair bit of money. I know you cant make a profit of these things (which i am clearly not doing) but i'd still like to minimise the damage. I'll get back to you shortly mate. Cheers

    • Not stock. All remade. Mostly looks stock because the pipes run to and from the standard holes in the inner guard to get to the return flow FMIC. I'm not sure which question you're trying to ask, because it seems like "stock position" vs "stock position".
    • Hey, it's a GT-R, it's just as significant a moment as mine😁 It's not ideal when things are uncertain; I'm the type of person that always has a set plan for things in life so being unsure of this plan puts me in a weird place mentally.
    • Hows your intake piping? Are you still running stock? Having in the stock AFM position would mean, if the BOV was shut/venting out, it'd create the almost stalling kind of effect right // "the rich pulse behaviour" due to MAF thinking air is flowing ? But this would be better than having the bov in the stock position + MAF on/just before cross over piping right?
    • Essentially, yes. Although I wouldn't put the AFM on the crossover pipe. I'd want to put it into what amounts to the correct size tube, which is more easily done in the intercooler pipework. I bought a mount tube for card style AFM that replaces the stock AFM - although being a cheap AliExpress knockoff, it had no flange and I had to make and weld my own. But it is the same length and diameter as the stock RB AFM, goes on my airbox, etc etc. I don't have a sick enough rig to warrant anything different, and the swap will take 5 minutes (when I finally get around to it and the injectors & the dyno tune).
    • So to summarise, the best thing to do is to move recirc to between turbo and IC, and maf on the crossover pipe. Meaning I'd need a recirc flange, drill a hole in the piping on turbo outlet area. And drill hole on crossover to fit/weld maf sensor? Either that or put the MAF on the turbo inlet right?  Is an aftermarket recirc/blowoff valve recommended? Do currently have family in Japan so could probably bring something back with maybe a cheeky lil SuperAutobacs run?
