okk wats happend is my car is choking alot mainly around 3000-4500rpm range... not sure wat is the problem... and now ive noticed my idle is really bad.. sumtimes sits at 500rpm..

with the idle i went over a speed bump twice and the revs went so low it just turned off... it didnt seem like a stall as nothing jabbed or anything, i jus saw my hicas/battery/oil light turn on and the car turned off..

ive gone thru the forums and hav asssumed (tell me if im right) the choking can be caused by faulty coilpacks?.. and the idling cud be becuz of my aftermarket bov? which infact my car is running heaps rich atm (300km full tank normal driving) and alot of black smoke is coming out of my exhaust.

can anyone tell me wat to do to fix these or was i right already? car is series 2 '96 skyline

thanksss

I think you answered your own question dude.If your bov has a bolt to adjust the spring preload wind it in a few threads and go for a drive.Never know it may fix it.

ive narrowed it down to that it only happens in cold weather (usually only happens at night)...

I just saw you have a PFC,mine sucks balls at night sometimes to but after a recent tune it is so much better.Go into the Idle menu and write down what setting you have. But yer fiddle with those settings and see if it improves.

ah crap i dont have a hand controller lol...

well with my idle problem.. i was going about 60 then i put it in neutral (going down a hill ready for red light) and on the way my car jus turned off, i didnt even realise it did till i felt the steering stiff.. any ideas on that?
