r32 aircon vents

As many people know air con vents on 32s break very easily and are very brittle at this stage of their life...

apart from buying new ones which are expensive...

does anyone know if vents from another car fit....or any other suggestions?

Doubt any other car would fit - i get my 32 day after tomorrow. I bought an air/fuel ratio and boost gauge (52mm each) to go in either side of the vents. I've bought some thick sponge cubes from clark rubber to support the gauges and i'm covering the gaps up with some vinyl to match the interior.

Not sure how i'm going to hook up the wires and vaccum line yet, but i'll cross that bridge when i come to it.

Will post a tutorial in the tute section when its done.

I'm not so sure you couldn't find something to fit: you would probably have to fabricate the facia (with, say, fibreglass), but the actual vent mechanism, slats, and dials from another car should OK assuming the size is about right.
