I have an aftermarket BOV on my gts-t but blown if i can here it over the external waste gate anyway :jump:

Now a wastegate going to atmosphere, you can't get a tougher sound than that in my book, no matter what BOV your running on your car :Pimp2:

And from what i've heard and read stock BOV's are the best :uh-huh:

how does that work?

the gate is open under load, and the BOV only opens when you come off the throttle.

So the gate noise stop, and then you should be able to hear the BOV :(

Not going into it with you man. Once i back off the throttle for the wastegate to close and the BOV open i still can't hear the BOV at that boost level.

If i shift before the wastegate open then i can hear it but that is under 10psi and under 4200rpm where the wastegate/high boost kicks in.

Your BOV wont go off with you on the throttle will it?

A wastegate opens under throttle, and BOV works off throttle.

So how you cant hear it is beyond me. You have to back off one for the other one to work dude. How you can hear a turbo spooling over an ext gate is also something i'd like to know.

Before you jump up and down again. Im running a atmo gate and 24psi with a moderate turbo. ;)

And i can hear my plumb back BOV, let alone an atmo BOV
