32 gts4 Unknown Problem - any ideas ?

I have 32 gts4 and was driving last week and everything was cool. Pulled up at lights then went to drive off and when i got to about 2500rpm it was like the car died, foot on accel, but no response.. car was kinda hopin. Pulled over on side of rd and car was idling from 1000 to 2000 up and down without me doing anything. Anyone have idea what might be causing this? Also the other night it happened when i was driving, and eveytime i got to 2500rpm it would kinda choke, so had to drive home like 45kms hr. Id just like to have an idea what might be casuing this before i go to mechanic, cz dun wanna get screwed over.

I was thinking maybe afm might be stuffed. But this comes and goes, its not constantly happening. So if this has happened or someone has idea, please let me know

Limp home mode.

Go to a mechanic.

afm is a good bet, when its unplugged, max rpm is 2500. check the element and plugs. if it looks ok and you have cleaned it up, it could be the circuit board inside. usesearch and you shall find answers
