Need helmet.

Where to get one for race track duties?

I'm feeling that if i walk into the first motorcycle shop and say gimme gimme gimme I'm gonna get ripped.

I'm around northern beaches/north shore/chatswood so anywhere around there would be helpful where I could go after work.

I can't drive to places in sydney because i work during the week so by the time I get most places they're shut already.

It's a bit of a hike, but Motorcycle Accessories Supermarket on Church St, Parramatta has a huge range up helmets from around $90 upwards. I bought a decent full face helmet from there a while back for around $150 (can't remember exactly how much) and the guys there were pretty helpful.

They probably do late night trading tonight, so perhaps give them a call if you can be bothered making the trip - 9633 1296

if you want one for car racing only, and are not afraid to spend a few quid, then go to Race and Rally (speedzone) in greenacre. top guys and they have all the good helmets. alernatively there is a good motocycle shop on wentorth st, city. should be open late tonight (thursday night shopping).

Greenacre is too far as is Parramatta. (I don't even consider those Sydney hehehe)

Thanks Richard, gonna go to the city one tonight - I'll go home and come back instead of trying to get through peak hour traffic across town. It seems good. MCA something action.. heh heh. Open till 8:30pm.

Pity they didn't have any cheapie helmets for my fat head! Apperantly I need XXL and they reckoned not many people make them so ended up with my only choice in the whole store being a $270 NGC or something helmet.

I didn't buy it because I know people with fat heads who have bought theres for around $150 hehe

The search continues
