mikep
Hey everyone, My Skyline is heading towards it's first service since i've owned it, so i'm looking for a decent place to take it to. One place that i'm curious about is SEI Motors in Dandenong, these guys import Skylines and do the compliance work on them. Has anyone here taken their cars to them ?? FYI my R33 is factory stock except for the exhaust, no PFC or anything like that. mike Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/76408-sei-motors/ Share on other sites
krzysiu
If you take your car to SEI motors, i would only recomment 1 mechanic from that place. I can give you his number if you PM me and he does it privately for much cheaper than SEI motors charge. His name is (Removed - PM me for name) and he also previously was prepering cars for bathurst and was also a driver of an R31 in tagra races in the day. If your nice he will show you some video's of him driving in the races He only charges by the hour + parts. I bought my car from SEI motors too, was the best car on the lot. They dont have much to choose from at all. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/76408-sei-motors/#findComment-1400564 Share on other sites

In that case, any other shops in the Narre Warren/Dandenong/Springvale area anyone would care to recommend. Or is it worth taking it to Ice Performance? krzysiu
I wouldnt take it to Ice performance either. Try Chasers or Racepace. Its worth the Journey to make sure your car is being taken care of properly. Its worth the Journey to make sure your car is being taken care of properly. you're implying that if you take your car to ice performance, then your car won't be taken care of properly... care to elaborate on this? personal experience, or just what you have read? from what i have read they are one of the best workshops around... inark
sorry to close it... but... i can see this ending in 3 pages ice vs chasers vs racepace. altho i can see ur point waz i dont think thats what he was implying... so guys in future if your going to recommend a workshop or recommend people dont use a workshop please leave specific and FACTUAL reasons why. mikep - my best advise for u would be to ring anyone of the mentioned workshops and see which one can provide you with the best value for money. I know that ICE, Chasers and Racepace are all respected tuners by different members on this forum...
