Overboosting/Freeboosting

Can anyone help because my RB25 is free boosting, when i accelerate hard the BLITZ SBC eltronic boost controller seems to bleep and go read as is gones over safe boost, This is not the solinoid as i have already replaced it. I need help as im scared of blowing the HKS25/30. My actuator pipe is on. Though im having problems with my coil packs but under my understanding im sure that does not effect my boost at all. Not sure what to do because the car does not perform when its free boosting.

You need to adjust your gain settings down.

The gain will be set too high causing the boost to spike when it comes on. You can also adjust your boost cut level, thats assuming it's the same model as mine.

Yeah i have the same controller and had the same prob when running over 15psi. The standard solenoid is not big enough for the setup. You have to buy a bigger one, about $120 from memory.

what gain settings are your using? what ratio setting? sounds way too high if you're getting large boost.
