Just to throw a spanner in the works - no . That car is hardly neat and on closer inspection would not be tidy . The boxy bits may cover silly sized wheels but did you note the front wheel offset ? , that thing would be bump steer city . There's no way you could get  ANY reasonable amount of positive caster into it without the tyres eating the arches .

The GRP A DR30's didn't look like that , and with the best of todays road tyres and suspension geometry findings you can do better . Ill take function over phat looks every time , function delivers lard does not .

Disco, Must you ruin everything??!!!! :)

Disco, Must you ruin everything??!!!! :D

:(

Good call!!! But you have got to admit the man has got a point. For me the real pleasure of owning a hot car is driving it not looking at it, and when you are driving you dont really take that much notice of what the car looks like.

But disco you gotta admit it looks GOOOODD!

On the flip side, if you were going to spend all that $$$ on getting the car looking phat then hopefully you would have the sense to spend equally large amounts on getting the car to perform as it should.

With that in mind has anyone in Aus really developed a DR30's suspension.

ie wishbone, multilink (please forgive if question is stupid, I don't know shite)

Oh Yeah, I'm with stu_r30, whats going on with that front bar?

I wish I had a DR like THIS HERE imported for me rather then a dead stocker. I would have saved myself so much money.

Yeah but that would defeat the whole purpose of playing with cars and the satisfaction you get at the end of it...And lets face it, even if you got that car you'd still do shit to it, where does the modifying game end really????? Its one big viscious circle......

I know what ya mean but to start with a car like that would be so much better, already has built motor, after market comp and sus done. SO all ya have to do is improve on the base ya start with, rather then blow the amount money I have already just to get to the point where that car is at. That has got pretty much every thing that I am currently doing to my car minus a thing or 2. :uh-huh:

it all depends on your bank balance, patients and what you want as an end result.. with my car i have a list of things i want to do to get it to the point i'm very happy with but with each few weeks the list get bigger, more $$$, the list is at about $10,000 at the moment plus the $$$ i've spend.

Yeah,I hear what the man's saying, but damn......looks at that thing! Mini Tomica racer!! :stupid: I do agree about function over form though. My last (decent) car was a dead stock looking Pintara, with the motor seen in my avatar. 100% Function ;)
