Just need any info on a good place to go to get some suspension(camber and toe in) problems sorted out, any ideas???

Also i have just fu#kd a set of very expensive tyres due to the above problems so does anyone know of a good preferably cheap place to get two 265 wide by 18 inch and two 235 wide by 18 inch tyres from???

Only ones i came across were around $480 each for the 265's.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wilkinson supension in Bayswater are excellent for suspension. If your an SAUWA member you get discount.

Wheels World in osborne park are great for tyres and they'll sort your camber and toe in depending on the handling you want and wear on your tyres (the owner does MC comps  and knows his stuff. )

By the way - if thats your car in the avatar... I think I saw you on the Graham Farmer fwy today :P

Thanks guys, i have got tyres. $640 for the two rears but that was the best price i could get for 265 x 35 R18's. Also got it booked in at W.A Suspensions, they seemed more expensive then any where else though to do the same job. Front camber kit and 4 wheel allignment was $450 while other places were only saying $250 - $300????

Like everything in life you pay for what you get, I wouldnt take it any were else, one of the few places were the owner is still on the floor in overalls and others run the office.

Got to watch low ball over the phone quotes, they can be from $300 till you get their,

How much camber did you have on the front?

- 2.25 and the caster and toe in was out too. Id say the camber was meant to be set like that because it is set up for drift but f#@ked if im going to spend $600 on tyres every month. haha

And yeh i dont mind paying for something if its Quality...

Yeah, I had 2 deg neg on the front of my 33, for handling. If you have adjustable front camber arms, they would be worth a few quid. Mine cost me $500 and that was cheap, full retail on them (JIC) was $650.

Probably too late now, but I was going to suggest if you have aftermarket front camber arms, you could get some stock ones, change them youself and sell the aftermarket units - would make you money instead of costing you.

so are you running toe out on the front now? what sort of castor?

Its not done yet they just checked it all out, i have to re book it in and i think he said would set it to compromise for track/road and would be set aroun -0.25 to -0.5 if that sounds about right???

The car has fully adjustable everything, about $10,000 worth but for some reason he didnt install the front camber kit.
