exhaust manifold bolts

hi all

in sydney, where i can i pick up some turbo manifold exhaust studs?

how do i remove the old ones?

just 2 bolts and with the spanner on the one closest to the head so it will grip the bolt and come out?

or weld a bolt onto it and do it that way?

Nissan will have them

You have the right idea for removing them, just two nuts on the stud. Be gentle or have the easy outs ready

not too happy with nissan....

they lost my last bolt order of $15ish dollars and then forgot to reorder them, then said i had picked them up and would not reorder them unless i paid again....

Nissan or a decent auto shop like Repco. The two nut method should be fine unless they are particularly hard to get out.

is there a part number i can give to repco to help in locating the correct stud?

here are the part numbers from a nissan spare parts invoice.

Exhaust Manifold Gasket - 1403621U00

Exhaust Manifold Studs - 0115100471

Turbo Charger Gasket - 144154P200

Exhaust Manifold Nuts - 0891284010

Now with the washers there two different type....thicker one and thinner one.....from memory i think the 2 center cylinders needed the thicker one....but a nissan dealer will confirm this.

Exhaust Manifold Washers - 1403701E00 & 1403742L01
