LOL, ummm.... both really. Both have thier good points and sort of do different things.

Traction control would be great for big HP cars.

When you've got your clutch fixed, do a 5000rpm dump and see what she does :(:D

Andrew - sorry for hi-jacking your thread....

yeah very modified and costs a shitload of cash to even get it to that. Theyre a shit car to mod compared to something like the EVO. Even the AVO boss himself said it in an interview. He only likes EVOs and GTRs.

Not even massive HP - his old car (now mine) can just sit there off wasting away the tires if u just dump it.

Traction control just electronically regulates the throttle anyway - nice, but nothing a human can't do if on the ball. More useful on corners where it can counter human stupidity :( ATESSA though in a GTR is a whole different thing.

Hey, coool, you can buy aftermarket traction control kits .... (me thinking)

I've never heard of factory TC on any Skyline.

R34 GT-T has traction control on the turbo as standard. I think on some of the later R33 series 2 (97 or newer) it came with traction control also an option.

I don't think there are many aftermarket kits available actually.. racelogic makes one (UK) apparently. Prolly not cheap.

Did you get your r32? If so is it a silver one with Enkei's on it? If it is I though it was Keir Wilson's car (9 sec SA GTR)when I saw a silver GTR the other day in 7th St!. As far as worrying about Scoobs in town, the STI's arent your worry. The STI's that are modded are mainly show, not go. My mates 00 (non sti) has a fair bit of gear from APS, and has stax of torque down low, but will eat 300kw GEN 3's. Will pull hard from 1000 rpm and falls off about 6 1/2. As far as drags go, dunno. He wants his car to last. As far as track performance is concerned, the APS 600 HP car will just outrun his down Sandown main straight (and they have more tyres/suspension/balls thru the corners) BUT.....at a track day a while ago the 2nd fastest car (after the 600hp demo sube) was a fairly stockish r33! Give me a yell if this is you in the 32 with the Enkei's, I wana have a look at your car if I can.
