1hp is pretty much 3/4 of a kw

so 300hp x .75 = 225hp. correct to 1%. if you're as crap at math as i am, using 3/4 makes it easy, and it's more accurate than most dynos. you can pretty mich say that rear wheel hp is approximately kw at the flywheel. It follows that you lose about 25% through the drive train.

I think ps is .76? they use ps cause its a slightly higher number, and looks prettier on paper. I think there's something to do with it being a metric value too, but i'm sure that's not important :D

Try this little exe file. Can covert a million and one things, and the coversion is both ways... don't worry the file is legit, no viruses or the like. This is an absolute gem... hmm cant post it... email me here and I can send it to you.

Anyone here can advice on the conversion of kW to HP? or vice versa? Whats the calculation like? and anyone with any idea on calculation of PS as well?
