Anyone with an r32 please help. 12v constant power source.

Hey guys, i need some help please.

im installing some trust gauges in my r32 gtst, and i need to know where a 12 volt constant power source is. This is usually easy to find with a circut tester, but my car doesnt have an engine in it, hence no power.

Does the cigarette lighter work with the ignition off? (i forget).

Do the hazards work without the ignition on?

An answer to these questions would help me figure this out.

This may not answer your question but have you considered running an extra always on power cable in behind the dash? (don't forget the fuse)

I find it's always useful to have one (ebc, hu, handsfree etc)

Also - if you're looking for an illumination for your gauges splice from your existing illumination circuit - easiest place would be the dimmer button installed for ADR compliance. This means you can dim them along with the rest of your dash

Yep, thats what i decoded to do with the constant 12 volts. Any idea what fuse would be sufficient?

Good idea with the dimmer! That way, when cops drive behind you, you can dim your pillar pod gauges right down! What a champion.
