Actually, the new testament of the bible says that it is not what goes in the mouth of man that makes him unclean but the words that come out....

What this means is that we can eat anything we like because the body will dispose of it but it is the harmful things we say or harmful way we act that makes us "unclean".

No offence to Islam here but I think the Koran is written based on the old testament of the bible, not the other way around...bible came first not vice versa but I understand that people can interpret readings anyway they want.

Also, you mention that many people have converted to Islam but what about those who have converted from Islam??? It's easy to learn about Islam in  this country and I'll tell you why....If I was to go and preach about any other religion in a Muslim country, it would never be allowed. We as Australian's have very high tolerance and respect for other peoples religion and we allow schools and places of worship of these religions to be setup and operate and so it is easy for people to learn about them. Try opening up a church or Hindu Temple in Saudi Arabia for example and see the consequence. I'm not saying that Islam commands its followers to stop the building of places of worship or schools but where does this level of fanaticalism come from? Is there any tolerance, respect and freedom of choice from these people? If so I shouldn't have an issue openly preaching any religion in some of these countries.

Sorry about the long post and please understand there is no offence aimed at Islam...just voicing the perception some fanatics give out about the religion.

You obviously haven't read the Quran for you to make such statements.

The Quran is not based on the old testament. It may contain similar stories, views in some area's as the old testament. As muslims, we believe the Injeel (Bible) was sent to Jesus (Peace be upon him) but that scripture which was sent to Jesus is no longer what is called the Bible today. We believe the bible today (with its many versions) has been tampered and altered by man.

To cut it short, i don't wish to get into a dialogue, this is not the right place for it, if you read upon Islamic history, you will see that non-muslims who lived in an Islamic state were free to practice their religion and worship their god/s. When you make statements against 'Islam', please quote from its scripture (Quran) and not from certain practices of some governments.

In regards to 'muslims' converting to christianity - this may be so, but you can count them with one hand. Islam is and has been for a long time the fastest growing religion in the West. Since 9/11 the number of people accepting islam has increased dramatically. Why?

Anyway, purpose of this thread was not to force my 'fanatic' views onto others, but was to advertise a lecture series that will take place.

Lets leave it at that, if you need to discuss this matter in further, i would love to correspond via email. My email is [email protected]

Husnu.

"And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you".

"Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you."

[Leviticus 11:7-8]

Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy

"And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass."

[Deuteronomy 14:8]

A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.

How profound, will you be speaking at the seminar? :)

Definition of Jihad: 'To struggle'

If jihad (a struggle) came to me - i would not be a man if i did not stand up and fight for what i believe.

I was born and raised in Australia, therefore, there is no Jihad for me. No ones coming to my personal space and threatening me. But if you look at bosnians (and this is the view of the non muslims/historians) they were attacked, tortured, raped and killed for what reason? NO reason at all. If this is the type of jihad your referring to, then I support that without a doubt, i would send all my money to assist these people to defend themselves.

We live a comfortable land safe ife here in Australia (Thank God). But we need to step out of our shoes and into the shoes of others to really understand what situation they are in.

Regarding the palestinians for example (suicide bombers). If you were to come home and see your house bulldozed, your wife and kids buried dead under the rubble, then you went to your parents house and seen the same thing there. (For what reason - only because they are muslims and are standing up for their rights).

Answer honestly- besides becoming mentally unstable - what would you do? You dont have the arms as those attacking you. All they can do is strap themselves with bombs.

Like i said, I am a Muslim born and raised in Australia. I have 2 children, and i try to teach them what is right and wrong. And kindness is an essential role of a Muslim. But when it comes to speaking the truth there are no buts about it.

We cant seem to understand because we havent been faced with these hardships.

To end it all, i do agree there are muslim who are 'extremists' and their actions are against Islam and i completely disagree with them. But this also comes with other religions.

I don't mean to be rude, but you say your a christian, and you go to church twice a year. Do you believe in your religion and scripture?

All of the above is in the bible. And if you are a christian - then Jesus (Peace be upon him) is the best example for you to follow.

I go church when i have to, as you may know even churche's are sometimes not all about belief, they want there fair share of money too.

jesus doesnt say go to church every day and youll go to heavan..

yeh i believe in jesus, not islam or whatever you call it

why the fu ck would i go to a piece of sh it seminar , where some complete di ck head low life is trying to rip you off and brain wash you

I cannot stop you from acting the way you are. But believe me, you are only degrading yourself man.

Why would you get upset at a seminar aimed at informing people about other beliefs.

No one's gonna hold a gun to your head and brain wash you. I would ask for you to show respect please.

Door swings both ways mate.. that didnt happen in bosnia. the serbs didnt just walk in and kill bosnians.. look at history mate. serbians have never eva eva eva eva eva evaaa been in a war that didnt involve some one attacking them and there land.. goat lovers.. WW1... WW2 . croatian bosnian war... Kosovo... serbs have never Invaded any country in its history... and dont start with that shit wit me. i lost a cousin who was shot walking home form school.. he was 13 at the time.

you answered my question to would u pick up a gun and attack australians if it came to it.

basically...

Ok, this is getting out of hand. Lecture series is on July 8 and 9, those who want to come and learn about Islam can come.

But as i said, dont judge the actions of Muslims and assume this is 'Islam'. Judge islamic according to its Scripture (the Quran).

Serbia - bosnia war: I think its best if we lread the findings of historians and NATO.

In regards to your cousin: with all honesty man, i don't wish this upon anyone. Wether its my worse enemy, or a guy's son who has just killed a member of my family. No innocent person deserves their life to be taken. But pls don't assume that this is the view of every Muslim or something.

    • Add to this... What blew the fuse too? If a circuit feeding power to the coils was blown, how were the coils even functioning to let the car start?   There is some seriously wrong wiring in that car for certain, and I'm betting there is some melted cables somewhere, but I can't explain the 30v either, unless there is something back feeding on that power line that has a dodgy power system and the electronics are giving it hell.
    • This is typically the case with such threads. What I cannot quite get my head around is where a reading above 12V (or 13.8 or 14.x or whatever the maximum achievable voltage might actually be in that specific car) comes from. 25V or 30V should be completely impossible. There's no way to create it. Hard to answer that question. It will literally depend on whether the current tune relies on the values as set. I'd guess it probably does. ie, the real base pressure being 49 means that the flowrate through the injectors will be higher than if it was 43.5. The Haltech's modelling should be handling that, but because it thinks the pressure is only 43.5, then..... I dunno. It should be thinking that it will be injecting less fuel with each pulse duration than is actually happening. So, something is definitely not-as-it-should-be, but specifically what that is is beyond my abilities to imagine. Someone like Dose who spends more time with Haltechs might have a better thought.
    • Bit of a late reply here as me and my wife have been really busy with new born twins. I finally got these issues fixed and it was something really stupid that caused all of this 🤦‍♂️... After alot of mucking around with trying to figure out what is causing these issues, I back probed one of the R35 coils on the power 12v supply, with the engine running it got 25v! And I thought, hang on..., this isn't normal. Measured my battery with the engine running to check for over charge from the alternator and it wasn't that. So then I dissconnected the R35 PRP coil harness and backprobed the power supply on the engine loom where the ignition coil harness connects, with the key on ignition (engine off) it measured 30v! So then I had to trace where that high voltage was coming from and it lead me to the brown relay "ECM & IGN coil relay" inside the cabin next to the ECU on the passanger wall. This relay feeds power to the ECM and ignition coils. Tried swapping it with another same relay. nah still 30v.. coming from the 2 green/white wires in the brown relay. So then I set my multi meter to the beep continuity mode and probed every fuse on the fuse box inside the cabin to try and find this high voltage power source. Wasn't any of the fuses inside the cabin. Then probed all the fuses in the engine bay and BAM, got my power source that was a 10AMP fuse called "ENG CONT". Pulled the fuse out, and what do you know... it was blown. 🤦‍♂️  So then I quickly replaced it with a new 10AMP fuse, started the car and yeah haha [insert extreme face palm]... The RPM blimping thing went away, car idles smoothly now like what it was before. I swear! I checked all my fuses with my test light twice before I created this forum thread. I think, maybe because one side of that faulty 10A fuse lit up on my test light, I must have thought it was still ok and not blown. But now I know to have both sides light up on the test light when checking fuses... I hate diagnosing electricals.... I'd take mechanical problems over electrical problems any day🤣. Drove the car around my suburb with the engine up to operating temp and it runs fine like before. However, I notice that my fuel pressure is still at 49psi. So I'm thinking this must be normal for my system as I've upgraded the stock fuel pump to a Walbro 255L/h with a constant 12v mod.  But anyway, I'm just glad to have my daily back on the road! Thanks everyone for the replies on this thread, all sorted now! One thing I want to ask you tuner guys, my base fuel pressure on the haltech main settings are set to 43.5psi from default (my tuner must have not checked the fuel pressure maybe when tuning my car?). Do I set it to what it actually is idling on at 49psi? Or just leave it ("if it aint broke, don't fix it/leave it")?
    • The max they would go for me is 50.
    • That cannot have been a fun set of drilling. The stock "baffle" looks identical to rb26, I just cut fuel cell foam to fit the full length under the baffle.
