Decided to put my car up for sale and see if anybody is interested...

1992 Nissan Onevia

SR20DE which just hit 170k on the clock

Originally Automatic but converted to Manual at N1 Clayton (Master cylinder and Slave cylinder both brand new, bought off jbonevia :) )

Modifications

Exedy Heavy Duty clutch

APEXi pod filter

3" Catback (Haha, I'm serious)

Koni yellow damper adjustable shocks (rears recently rebuilt by Toperformance less then 5,000 kms ago with receipts)

Whiteline control performance springs (bought brand new 5,000 kms ago lost the receipt but have the box :D All fitted by Toperformance)

Cusco Front and Rear adjustable strut braces (Imported from Japan by myself)

17" Circular White 5 spoke rims, 7.5" front with 215/45 Eagle F1 tyres, 8.5" rear with 235/45 Falken Ziex 502 tyres

Exterior

180SX front end done by DT Panels

Custom wired pop up headlights by an ex-N1 mechanic (can adjust height of headlights however you like ;) )

Vertex copy 180SX front bar

Vertex copy side skirts

Nissan Silvia rear pods (original, hard to find it seems :D)

Type-X parkers

Custom indicators in front bar (illegal to have them without, unless you have the tear drop indicators which incorporate both)

Interior

Alpine CDA-9815 MP3/CD player (Very good headunit, may not include with the car...)

Alpine T220 2 channel amplifier

Alpine SR-175A splits

Mongoose top of the range alarm with 3 point immobilisor, black wiring, glass break sensor, code hopping, optional turbo timer input etc etc (recently installed by Sunroof centre with receipts, box, manual etc, very good alarm, paid over $500 cause I'm a paranoid bastard)

Razo GT Advance/another type more cylinder like gearknob (Take your pick :) )

Razo carbon fibre pedals

That's all I can think of at the moment, I have quite a few spares I can chuck in with the car like stock suspension, a spare headlight, spare front rotor/caliper, spare rear calipers/rotors etc.

For a bit extra I can upgrade the front brakes to R32/Z32 4 pot calipers... or depending on your offer I'll chuck them in but rotors and fitting you may have to sort out yourself. I have alot of random receipts with costs which I can give you just to show how much I've spent on her :) Alot of the mechanical work has been carried out by N1 Service factory or Technik Tuning.

Currently has personalised plates on the car which will definately not be included.

There's something I should mention though, there's a slight dent on the passenger side towards the rear and on the front fender but hardly noticeable, either way though, should you be a definate buyer I will have it repaired.

Any genuine interest with questions I'll be happy to answer. But presently I'm doing my exams until this Friday... so my response time might not be the best until after then. I suppose I should mention a price... please all I ask is to keep your comments to yourself should you not like the price :)

$11,000 ono

I've done alot to the car which most normal NA owners probably won't do... but it's really a fun, good looking daily car :) I've had no major problems besides the rear handbrake cable seizing up (which I've fixed and even have spare parts for should you worry about it happening again :)). Mileage is great... I get over 400km easily on a full tank. Put in another $3k and you got yourself a nicely handling SR20DET/RB20DET (A LSD will bolt straight in unlike some NAs out there) :)

I'm not in a hurry to sell the car as I'm still sorting myself out financially and mentally (I love this car alot... ;)).

Leave me a PM, reply, e-mail to [email protected] or give me a call on 0402346691 (please only contact me AFTER Friday 17/6/05 midday though, I will be very busy before then).

(Note: Rear pods were added after the pics were taken)

    • My 6 Point FIA harness have arrived (kinda). There was a mix up from the supplier and I ended up with 3" set rather than the 2" set. I contacted them and their customer service was top notch. It is being resolved and 2" ones will be on their way to be soon but in the mean time I was able to at least mock them up in the car to see the vibes. Need to organise some fixed back seats so i can actually use them as a 6 point. I am leaning towards the Velo Podium II XLs as I like the look of the bolstering compared to the GP90 XL or GPT2. The side and thigh bolstering on the GP90/GPT feels less that my existing Bride Digo R recliner. Velo Podium II XL Velo GP90 XL Velo GPT2
    • Yea I know the wiring would be fine just want to use I got. This was my first built engine and it blowing got me beat down just want to have it running right again but hopefully I can find a non vct head so I don’t have to do any of this lol.
    • Recently did the Perth Festival of Speed - and basically what we thought might be an average event turned out to be absolutely awesome they bought Mad Mike and Xtreme over and was good to see Perth get, support and produce something so good - 24,000 people in two days      It was nice to have it close to home for once yet have my whole crew there to run the car properly     Xtreme got the tin top laps record with 51.57    I hadnt done a hot lap on the home track for 20 months and finally everything clicked and dropped 4 secs off PB and did a 53.29 which is 3rd fastest tin top ever around that track. only 1.3 tenths behind 2nd so should eat that up soon... can I get Xtremes time - its not out of the question   Alll the blaa blaa's in the world but if I can replicate even close to that situation on other tracks will be able to make an impact     We got asked to do the hill climb to put on a show which in reality is just using some chicanes and the short track at barbs but good fun... launch control was put in and won the Pro class in that also.     Car needs some attention after being on it around Australia for last few months moreso the carbon underbody work and just a run through and clean up everything else seems to have held up good enough. Would like ,to take some weight out but that requires alot of effort 😁   Also waiting on new rules for WTAC and have some decisions to be made there and prob some minor modifications to suit pending class changes. Will see...   Divided on whether to go hard for one more year or chill out re: events this coming year prob more on the go hard and see if I can get improvements in times. If I didnt have so travel so far it would be less of an issue but I do so hmmm...   Also because build thread - gone to flappy paddles and a gearing change with a drop gear. It was becoming apparent that there were situations where I really needed to be hanging onto the wheel with both hands yet had to change gears and was getting a little sketchy and / or I just didnt change gears and delt with it and also 5th gear at 10,000 rpm is 290 kmph so I havent been using 6th as did 282 at WTAC and 274 in Perth drop gear will change to 6th being 300 at 10,000 rpm should also get a touch more acceleration speed
    • No, not really. Except that there are newer, better cam options that don't date back to the 90s. I was under the impression that you couldn't use VCT with them, which is why I said to get rid of them. If you can't/won't use VCT because of what you listed above, that's another matter. Although I would have said the wiring aspect of it was something that you should just suck up and do, as it isn't hard. Getting an actuator for the cam gear will possibly be expensive. I still say VCT is for the win. There's a reason HKS makes money selling it for 26s.
    • Is there something wrong with using tomei?  I’ve heard the tomei usa are fake parts. Reason why I don’t want to make vct work is one gotta make a plug for the solenoid get the vct cam gear. I rather just use the stuff I already have. I made 450 on 17psi full boost at 4K. I’m satisfied with that it’s a street car and sometimes hit the track for drift. If I’m really wanting to decrease the lag I’ll go to a smaller rear housing as I have an extra or even cam gears.
