lordsnipe
I am about to join the two together, but was just wondering what to do with the power antenna side of things. Aerpro harness has blue wire for power antenna, and blue/white for remote (amp). Pioneer harness does not have blue wire for power antenna, only blue/white for amp. What has everyone else done here? Hooked it up to the red wire? I've found this : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=72085 , and thats what someone has said to do. I think it's a bit crap that the Pioneer range doesn't have the power antenna stuff :chairshot Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/77340-pioneer-7750-harness-aerpro-ap7550-harness/ Share on other sites
Chris Rogers
tie the blu/wht to the blu. that will do the antenna up down with radio power. the upper end units do have both wires. lordsnipe
Hi Chris, Im planning on doing that, but also adding a switch in so I can stop the antenna coming out when playing CDs .. sure it's manual but there's no need for it to be out when playing CDs. 7750 not Upper end enough? sheesh.. I know it's not the most expensive model.. what if I got a harness for the 8650 or 9650 then? Same plugs hey? I know Pioneer can supply replacements .... does the deck need to support it?
