Hey im bored and got money so i have decided to sell my 32 n1's turbos for a nre b/b set of either 34 n1's or something else prob is what is something else im looking for something that will bolt on the factory ppostion but if i dont go for the 34 n1's something that will make more power, not to worried about lag so i was considering maybe 2540,s with a set of cams would this be wise...

and question how much are 32 n1's worth these days..

I'm doing something different......mainly due to a few people getting pinged for import duty on Turbos thru Nengun and the like atm.

Anywho I'm getting my standard turbos rebuilt using Steel T28 Wheels, and having the Housing Machined, costs just over $1000ea to perform....should see 600fwHP which is probably 100hp more than i'll ever use :)

Did the same thing to my old 'VLT T3' was good for almost 400rwHP, and is still going strong after 2+years.

I will post results when complete

I got my GTSS through nengun! and a whole stack of parts... no duty or GST!

I wouldn't go running around advertising that fact. Regardless, you have to at least budget for the possibility when buying from Japan (US is a different story post free trade agreement).

I wouldn't choose the GT-SS's if your after more power than the N1s. I would choose at least the 2530s. 2540s = a mismatched turbo, so avoid (do a search for more info).

Lucien.

Is it possible to see a modified version of that graph with rpm instead of speed ? ย I'm interested in the response of the 2530's but I'm not sure about the GTR gearing.

Dyno's charts are done in either 3rd or4th gear which is 21.9km/h per 1000rpm & 28.5 km/h per 1000rpm respectively.

The larger 0.6 AR front N1's are good for more top end power. I have the plain bearing group A's and at only 13.8 psi they can make around 400hp at the treads easy with cams (I have detuned my engine for a safe 370rwhp). If you wack the boost up to 20 psi with a better intercooler you could see as much as 500+rwhp. At those levels your engine needs to be made stronger and even before that an oil cooler is nice to have.

I'm running 700cc sard injectors, cams are tomei 260's and standard airflow meters. The Standard airflow meters run out of resolution over 400rwhp and it's easier to tune with something bigger like the Rb20/25's and they are a straight plug in. If you are shooting for more than 500 then Z32's are the shot. If you have the 0.6AR front N1's you should be able to get more out of it with bigger cams.

i'm running the gt2560r garret 320hp (r34n1) they have 0.60ar compressor and 0.64ar turbine housing and with pfc ,z32afm ,700cc sard injectors and poncams i make 529.4rwhp at 20psi .The gt2560r are very similar to 2530hks with the same turbine but has a differnet compressor ( i my opinion an awesome turbo combo for the gtr).

The 2530 hks is also an excellent unit also.
