I'm unsure but I know that ps and hp are very very similar

from what i have heard the ps system of measuring power is different to the hp/kw system, although generally ps and hp figures for a car are pretty similair.

It's basically the same until you start getting into large numbers.

1 HP = 1.01 PS or 0.74 KW

1 PS = 0.73 KW or 0.98 HP
