As someone has already suggested, do a leak down test. In ~20 minutes that will tell you if it is an internal engine problem.

if its a valve do they tick sometimes .

Have mate with a 32 gtr and his engine ticks lick crazy at low rpm and has a bit of blowby could this ticking be a valve seal.
