Want Gauges to replace stock ones on R34GTT

Does anyone know if you can replace the gauges in the factory position 3 gauge holder above the air vents in an R34GTT? What size fit, and has anyone got pics of the results?

I've seen quite a few with Defi/HKS/Greddy etc and I "Think" the replacements are 52mm (not too sure TBH) but the holder will need a little modding (I think the holes are less than 52mm)

You would be able to do it, but would have to make some sort of mount that would screw into the same position. The factory gauges are just one single block behind the shroud. You may have trouble with lining 3 seperate gauges so close to each other as the may foul on the outerpart...it could be done with some modding for sure.

I pretty sure the ones that HPI used when they did their 34 were Omori ones.

What did you do with the voltmeter IanH ?? Coz I am tossing up as to wether replace with Nismo ones or go all out and get Defis

does anyone know why the sites Ryan listed in Australia have these on their price list for $200, but Nengun has them listed for $300? Makes no sense (since Nengun are generally tons cheaper than any local stuff)!

Has anyone fitted one of these clusters? I take it you can do it yourself? Do they come with instructions? Cheers

Nengun might replace the whole unit and not just the gauge panel. Email them and ask.

HPI got the omori set from memory.

do a search and the website will come up, I emailed them and the guages are quite reasonable prices

Those Defi ones look awesome. I notice the centre dash material is different to mine. (Mine is same as E-Lu_Shuns)

I guess they had to remove a bit of plastic to get them to fit because they llok slightly bigger.

When you say plug and play, does it mean just that?? No recalibrating of the boost gauge etc...seeing as the Nismo ones read higher max boost?? If its easy enough to plug n play might consider one
