adrnln
HI all Has anyone done repaires to their Cefiro Steering rack? My right hand side rack is leaking and needs resealing but I was wondering , instead of me riping out the rack, sending the seals south, with a week turn around, if any one knows where to get the seal just sent to me.?? Cheers guys ADRNLN Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/77706-power-steering-seals/ Share on other sites
RiverSide
I have had a rack recoed previously and from memory they had to use a combination of R31 seals and S13 seals. I would suggest you just send it away.......that way they will just fit the correct seals, otherwise you may be sent the incorrect seals and be wasting your time. RiverSide
Surely there is a power streering workshop in Darwin somewhere. Whilst a cefiro rack may not be something they see everyday they will be able to decifer the seals required and order them in. I suggest you speak to your local workshop, i am certain they will be able to help you. adrnln
Everyone I have talked to said they would take it to a mechanic that deals with imports. and get them to take the rack out and then send it south to get the seals done Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/77706-power-steering-seals/#findComment-1423282 Share on other sites
