just recently pull in for fuel.. older guy after filling up his prado strolls over and says

" how much power she got", to which i replied "about 280hp at the wheels". the bloke then starts, "i was at the summernats a few years ago and there were standard street commodores with 1000hp, is that all that things got??". i was too dumbfounded to reply to that..

My dad told me this story when he was comming back from work. These asian guys where following my dad in a riced up lancer, telling him to pull over. So my dad did. They asked him if they could have a ride because non of them have been in a skyline before. My dad, not the kind of person that would say **** off because they asked nicely. Loaded up the skyline, all seats taken. Set too high Boost. And they all loved it. Not a commodore but just an example that some people arent retarded...

Oh i agree, even some of the peeps who drive commodores drive them for the large 4 door car and happily know they are simply a family car and admit alot of imports are fast. I have a few mates who own em and bag Jap crap but still know when it comes to it they get put in their place Even when they drive daddys new v8 lol
