S13 strawberry-faced silvia Vs R32 gts-4, What do u think is better?

hey all,

just wondering which out of the two people think is better?? i already have an r32 gts-4 but thinking about selling it and buying a silvia project car and do it up into a strawberry faced silvia. but im not sure whether to do it or just hold on to the skyline?? what do u guys think. anyone with personal experience of owning either of the cars and good and bad points they have?? or just based on looks and performance.

id say the s13....just coz im not a fan of the gts4's, if it were a gtst however...i still like silvias though. but i could never own one, im not a fan of the sr20...the power delivery is like an on/off switch...i like the smoothness of the line.

not as common as r32's

r34 fronts (bee-r kits) are bloody expensive, like i think around $10-11k for full (front & rear) bee-r kit

strawberrys (at same site) are ~ $2,750-2990 with swap over (installed but only in melbourne)

personally I prefer r32's, they just feel like a lot better built car. s13 interior looks cheap and tacky. SR20DET is heaps better at lower RPM but not as revvy as RB20DET.

having said that, i'd probably go the S13 over a gts-4 simply coz of RWD factor... although u can just pop a fuse on the atessa.

Just pop a switch in series with the fuse and have on demand RWD/4WD..

You dont have to go full Beer Kit either, there is the standard gtt converson for 4500 i think it was? Also from garage 13. Personly i tihnk the choice of RWD and 4WD comes down to personal driving preferences, if your into drift then id go the silvia. If you like striaght out acceleration/speed (as i do) then skyline is better option.

Also as someone mentioned above, the skyline build quality is much better. The egine smoother. etc etc.

if u decid to go s13, don't do the strawberry faced silvia, at the end of the day, it's still a s13!!

if u want s15 front, buy a s15!!!
