They are refering to the old school way...which has its limitations....the new way will certainly be a lot more effieient and power productive. I am in contact with the development team regarding a high performance application for a drag car...I will keep you informed.

I hope they are able to do better than the current 33kw per injector limit..... Any insight on what the limiting factor is?

When LPG is turned into gas you get a cooling effect from the expansion I think.

As for upper cylinder lubrication - I think you're referring to old school cars that ran on super which had lead in it to lubricate the valves and what not. ULP cars already have hardened valve seats so LPG wouldn't be a problem.

I'm guessing that the power limit has something to do with the size of the aperture. Ie they had to work out how to get 4mm opening and closing at the same speed as 0.2mm (or whatever normal injectors are). Probably getting more than 4mm is hard and therefore creates the power limit you are referring to.
