I've got a set which I will sell - no tyres.

Relatively unmarked you can buy for $1500 but you would need to arrange transport from Brisvegas.

I think $ 1500 is a bit too much without tyres , would yo settle with $1200

and I will get them pcked up.

are you anywhere closer to Milton in QLD?????????????????????

Please advise.

r33 gtr rims are very nicely made i got to say. definately better options than most oif your average tempe-style cheapies. they command such a high price because of that fact. they're quite lightweight too! i'm considering having mine powder coated...

d

They are about $3300 each from Nissan , they are a forged rim and very strong but they are not light ( for a forged rim ) the 34 gtr rim is 1/2 kilo lighter and its 18 x9 .

You don't want to put Chinese rims on any hi performance car , so any decent rims will be over $3 k for a new set .

given, they aren't the lightest rim in the world, but for an OEM rim, they're not bad! evens till, they're cetrainly lighter than your average bling roller and most of the time lighter than cheap knock-off "JDM-racing-style" volk/enkei/work/etc etc fakie.

i picked up a rim the other day that looked quite nice (smoked gunmetal-ish colour 6x square spokie thing) and looked lightweight, but was frickin' heavy! it was a 17x9 and a good couple of kilos heavier than my 33 rims... at least...

Because BCNR33 wheels are forged...you can hardly compare them to bodg chinese cast wheels.

First I've heard anybody say its actually for the weight benefits..

Most that i see with GTR rims seem to be your typical ricer lappers that couldn't care less.

Many of the genuine Engei's, volks, etc - in 18" can get for ~$2k for a set these days.. direct from japan brand new

You certainly can't get any forged 18 inch rims from Japan for anywhere near 2k.

I'll have a few sets of new forged jap rims ( 18" ) for $2000 , how many can you get me and how soon .

P.M. if you like .

alright.. looks like most of them on there that are cheaper are cast .. still, they're not crappy chinese copies..

haha...and if you think you are going to do the dodgy and try to bring in a set of wheels without paying duty and GST on the goods and frieght, you have another thing coming. You will almost always get stung on big items like wheels.

And yes...they are cast. Price the forged gramlights

did I say that? or did I say exactly $2,000 even? I said around $2k.... a few hundred dollars more than what GTR rims go for.

all I am saying is you are not necessarily going to get crap rims for around $2k .. and if we are comparing *second hand rims* (which we are)... there are lots of other options available, big brands and otherwise :P

Umm, gordo they're both cast rims...

I'd like a set of R33GTR rims as track rims, but they won't clear the brakes I want, so probably going R34s :P

I personally like the idea of keeping it 'factory' ie. even though it's an R32GTR, it still has GTR rims ;)
