Field Posted June 22, 2005 Share Posted June 22, 2005 0.5 o/s Forged Pistons, rings and bearings replaced at 70,000 klm, Shot peeneed, knife edge, balanced and nitrided crank, rods shot peened and balanced, tomie rod bolts, ceramic coating to pistons, teflon coated skirts, new timing belt, hi pressure oil and high flow water pump. Rebuild cost $5500 just in parts! Oil filter, engine, gearbox, Diff oils changed at last service Kei office front coil overs (fully adjusable with camber plates) cusco rear coil overs with top hats cusco front castor rods (tension rod?), cusco front and rear strut braces Apexi FMIC intercooler Turbo extractors (fitted 2 weeks ago cost $400 + fit), ***imoto exhaust, front pipe, de cat pipe, HKS pod filter Light weight billett flywheel (installed with engine) heavy duty clutch (full face installed with engine) omori Water temp, boost, Oil pressure and oil temp (oil temp fitted but needs to be hooked up) gauges, HKS turbo timer, Mazdaspeed steering wheel (i dont know why this is fitted but it is) 15'' Volk racing wheels Endless front and rear pads ($400 per Set) Braided brake lines (worth $350) Torsen LSD 4.3:1 Ratio great body for age apart from Damage. Quoted $480 + Parts (bonnet (about $150), bumper (about $100-150), passenger side guard (about $100) and light ($150-$200) and and paint for repair, crashed on the way to compliance and lost intrest. Hit a power box in industrial area at 40 klm. There would have been less damage but the last owner removed the bumper bar support. Looks worse then really is. Made 168 kw at the wheels (dyno'd after manifold fitted) The car is uncomplied and unregistered (just imported), add $1300 For compliance then normal rego and insurance costs.
