Hey all,

i am heading to japan soon, about 2 months away, just for a quick holiday...wat i wanna know is... i want to buy some cheap parts for my r32 gtr and im wondering if theres anyone out there that could reccomend any parts that would be a lot cheaper to get over there and where from and if u could give me some directions on how 2 get to it either in tokyo or nagoya (not far out of the city) on a map would be good!

i wanna get some parts that i can bring back in my suitcase too rather than shipping....

My advice, dont go too nuts.

Everything is there for you, if you know where to look.

Anything along the lines of electronics, fuel system, accessories, gauges etc are easy.

If you go overboard, be prepared for an uncomfortable hike back to the airport - a close to 30kg bag of parts is an absolute bitch to carry - speaking from experience

Find every "Up Garage" you can and you'll find yourself in 2nd hand heaven !!!! :(

"Autobacs" for new, general car stuff and if you're really nice they will both discount for multiple purchases.

AND be prepared to get a lot of attention from Customs on your return to Aus.

Don't listen to blitz...go nuts

just kidding.

BST might be a bit of a hassle though. nicks advice is sound. just check the prices on parts you want here before you go. no point buying a 'bargain' lugging it back then realising you could have ordered it for the same price.
