Horn wtf doesnt work...

OK had my car for over a month, now i have time to fix stuff...

So the horn doesnt work.. How to fix it?

When I press the horn on the steering wheel the relay clicks, also when I test the two lines comming to the horns they both light up when the button is pressed.

So what is wrong? Is it the horn itself? if so how do I test it? Anyone kindly wanna come over and help me test it?

get a airhorn!...nice and loud! only if the original horn is stuffed!

lol.. well I need to figure out if original horn is broken or not 1st.... hence I need another line to test these horns.. lol..

Just get the horn and use some wires and hook it straight up to the battery. If it horns it's not broken.

Then get a test light and get the plugs where the horn sits and get someone else to push the button on your wheel and if that doesn't work then take your steering wheel off and check to see the horn is actually grounding the circuit when you push it in.

Ive done that and the plugs both work when u press it.

As for the horn hmm... Plug it to a 12v source? Do I need to ground the horn?

Swap it out for someones horn that works and see if your horn disk itself is stuffed

So if you're getting pwoer to the horn plug, either the connection between the horn and the plug is not good, or the horn is stuffed.

That's why you need to do what cc said/swap for another horn/clean contacts and try your horn again.

This is fixed. I just changed horns..
