Cut & Polish, Professional detailer – recommendation?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Last w/end, an over excited guard dog landed it’s paws all over my bonnet.

I almost killed it – in return it almost killed me back…

Anyway, there are a few very good scratches that won’t come out, but I’m sure a good cut & polish will do wonders.

Any professional details that you have used and can recommend?

Price for a cut & polish?

I was thinking of taking it to a paint shop to be buffed, but detailer could be cheaper…

Any comments?

And no dog jokes!

Thanks

1300 739 971 Martin from MBH Auto/Marine Detailing. He is mobile also. Wash, wax, chamios dry, wheel wash and tyres blackened is $22. He does have a buffing machine but you'll have to ring for a price on that. He said that a full buff on a commodore is $40. Good bloke and does a great job.

i got a thing from my local shop about a crowd called penguin car cleaning. little mobile franchises. from as little as 7.95 for a wash'n'wax to 34.95 for cut or polish. but what kind of a job would you get. seems a bit cheap considering they are coming to me and how long would they spend?? but you never know....
