Brake rotor...

Hi guys...just wondering if anyone knows how to tell when the rotors need to be replaced? i get screeching noises when i brake although i think thats due to pads although they appear to be standard pads to me...and when i brake hard, i get this weird "graa graa graa" noise....the car still stops well though....

Any advice?

you need to measure the thickness and then check what the minimum thickness that rotor is built to..

the noise can be the scarpers kicking in because the pads are low..

Well ive got loads of meat left in my pads thats fer sure....any idea on wots the thickness of the standard gts-t front n rear rotors?

might just need some anti sqeel on the shims.

check dba website on they standard replacement for your car.. and that should be the minimum rating on it..
