Marsss
I think 2 people is the minimum so sounds good so far.. reason for my preference was that it'd give us time to have a bbq as well, and maybe even a cruise... Beer Baron
I'm in for Keros option. 45mins of seat time will be ample. you can then run 15min each then driver change, then you have 45min break. and you will need it after 15min flat out. well if it goes ahead put me down for a team of three. Majanal
Sounds good to me, are we going to make it a club event, and would you like me to invite the RENEW guys along also... to see if rotor drivers or 6 drivers are the better steerers at the end of the day? Marsss
The more the merrier i say and teams of three would make it a tad more affordable.... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/78368-go-karts/page/3/#findComment-1449907 Share on other sites
Beer Baron
ooops, I meant teams of 4 for 3 hours (like kero suggested). bit silly of me, I got carried away and posted team of 3. I'm sure I could encourage one or two teams from the GTI-R owners club. hopefully. satanic
I'm having my month long schedule re-worked tomorrow so could someone please set a date and price so I can stay in Australia and not be cast away to NZ or somewhere knowing I missed out on karting?? Liquid
Last time i was there i did 70 laps... I think it was 2x20 with a 30 lap final ... awesome experiance. Really took it outta me. But yeah... I'd be happy to be in a team of 1 if we can get 10-15 min breaks between heats. Otherwise yeah i'll go team of 2. Kero
Probably the best day would be a saturday (we will get the most people then). (Sundays people tend not to turn up). Even like a late thursday night session i think would be good. Morning / Afternoon / Evening?? It would have to be at least late august to give enough time to get numbers and i believe ec require $50 deposits from all drivers. Definately need more clubs as the more people the better.. Bonkers
Put myself and Jane down. We both played last time and enjoyed it. We did two sessions in the little karts then one in the big ones - yep you can feel it the next day. Blitz
I would think we should be able to pull enough numbers for this to be an SAU only event, but either way I will be in. I perfected the art of 1 handed drifting at the EC go cart track last time I was there, lots of fun Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/78368-go-karts/page/3/#findComment-1452123 Share on other sites
Merli
I recon Team enduro 3hr with teams of 4. That way its $146.25 each (or $131.25 during the week) and we each get at most 45 minutes each. This sounds like a PERFECT plan. I'm in for this :uh-huh: :uh-huh: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/78368-go-karts/page/3/#findComment-1452184 Share on other sites
