Hey all,

R33 GTST with the following

- PFC with Boost Control Kit

- R34 GTT cooler

- Exh cam gear (four degrees retarded)

- Dump / Front pipe, hiflow cat and 3" catback

- Platinum sparkies gapped to 0.8mm

Tuning yielded 197kw @ 12psi (see dyno graph for stock ECU, full exhaust, GTT cooler -> tuning the PFC and cam gear install).

Found that my knock levels, whilst fine for daily driving, suffered a bit under load (on 8psi heavy load knock went to about 60-80)

Cooler has since been upgraded to a Trust side mount.

Am going to get a retune soon, but would like some opinions on whether it's worth upgrading the fuel pump before I do so. Don't have the AFRs on hand unfortunately.

Vijay

the fuel pump is on or very very near maxing out on 12psi around 200rwkw. i'm maxing mine out and have a gtr pump going in. nice power too. ive got the same config except stock dump pipe and. dump pipe should go on this week and fuel pump too. im stuck at 170rwkw and i loose power past 5500 odd so hopefully dump pipe will fix.

well if you had 60-80 knock on 8psi and run 12psi then you'd be seeing more knock in theory? use the setting, ign/inj correction and turn ign down a few notches (it goes back to 0 when u turn car off) and see if the knock goes away, if so most likely your ignition is far advanced and its knocking a little, nothing a tuner can't fix easily. also may be worth moving to a fmic, not sure how well the stocker side mount will go at 12psi with 200rwkw.
