Petrol tank cap

im in need of a petrol tank cap for my 93 skyline gts-t,

does any1 know where i can find 1 or wat other cap i can use of antoher car, coz petrol keeps spilling out my tank and i want it fixed,

mine only smells when i start my car

and i can hear hissing noises and can actually see fumes coming out of the petrol lid

are you sure its your cap...in my car they used silican to seel the new inlet when compliancing...fuel eats silican!

SILICON TO SEAL THE INLET? WHICH INLET PLEASE?

COS MY CAR DID NOT USE TO SMELL LIKE THIS BEFORE.

COULD IT BE THE RUBBER RING ON THE CAP?

OR FUEL PUMP? I PUT A THREAD IN A WHILE AGO BUT NO ONE COULD PROVIDE ME WITH THE ANSWER.

the inlet im talking about is the actual piece you put the petrol nozel in when you fill up...the part that the cap screws onto.

as for the smell...err..im not the best person to ask there:o

My mate has a U13 and the cap he got is too long and it does not seal properly. Perhaps this is your same problem?

yes it does smell when i start the car up and i can hear hissing and see the fumes escape as i start the car,

now i dont fill my tank up and it doesnt leak but if i put a full tank in it will leak without a doubt, wat could it be exactly? if it is a fuel cap and u have the original to fit a r33 gts25t then pm me
