My C210 Project Car!

hello all

On the weekend I bought a aus spec c210 coupe. It was the previous owners project car, which he left half finished. It has the orginal L24 in it, with a brand new set of extractors and a weber carb. the ignition has been upgraded to electric. the motors not running, but will with a little work.

It has a half finished manual conversion; the box has been put in and the driveshaft connected. The clutch cylinder and pedal are not yet installed.

The body work is really good. Its had all the rust removed and a general straightening. It looks like your typical datsun, with patchy paint

the interior is pretty good. it has the original steering wheel and the ultra cool space age gauges..theyve really grown on me. :aroused:

the wirings a mess, itll be the biggest and hardest part of the project.

best part was that it came with, literally, a trailer load of parts. i have heaps of spares, some of which i wont be using. If any fellow c210 owners need any parts, i might have them. of course the parts I need i cant find in the pile, so Ill be looking for some later.

It also came with an Rb30e motor with all of the engine bay parts for a conversion. i don't have the time and experience to adapt a EFI car to a old one, and patching up the orginal wiring just so it works will be enough for me. Im selling all of the VL/R31 parts.

Did this car belong to anyone on this forum? has anyone seen it before? Ill need some advice putting it back together so ill be hanging around here for a bit..
