Anyone lowered their R34 ?

Any of you guys lowered your R34 GTT ?

How much you lower it by ? What springs ? Any problems scraping/cops ?

I'm thinking of lowering it 1.5 inch on front and 2 on the back using jumbo springs.

Lowered 30mm front and 35mm rear on Trust Dowmax springs, looks Much better and handling was much improved. However the rear camber was pushed out to -2.6ve so i needed my camber adjusting to bring them back to -1.1ve - a 30min job.

Any pics of your lowered GTT's? I'd be interested to see I don't really want to lower the front of mine (too used to driving a commodore, heh) but I'd like to lower the back a bit.

Average prices of decent coilovers would set you back around $1200-$1800 depending on brand, new or 2nd hand. Frog, if you wanna lower just the rears, stick 2 15" subs in the boot, that should do it

Whiteline coil springs and Bilstein shocks, lowering 25 mm front and 30 mm rear. Springs didn't make much difference to the handling but the shocks sure did. Stabiliser bars (front and rear), adjustable caster bushes (big improvement) and some adjustable camber bushes to keep the tyre wear in check.

looks abit high cause of the gravel ground, but yeh, rear wheels just sit underneath the guards

does it make any difference to ground clearance if you lower it on 17s and 18s?

it would depend on the overall rolling diameter. if you have a larger rolling diameter then ground clearance would by higher.
