I had to have a degree to work at Nova...

BEng for me though... Lucky I snuck through as most engineering students can barely speak English.

you guys think i can get a teaching jobin japan  with a Batchelors in engineering?

After you learn to read, yeah, sure...

haha thankz gojira.

but can i grab an oppinion from ya... nova being a corporate business rather than a teaching institution, isnt its objective differ than from thoes of actual teaching institutions? like for example profit over customer satisfaction?

not to say that this applies to nova in particula, but from talking to other gaijins on other forums it appears that the big companies such as nova arnt really that good...

i wouldnt have any idea, its just from information i get from other people...

wats ur call?

haha thankz gojira.

Actually the main thing that Nova focuses on is customer satisfaction rather than education. A successful class is a 'genki' (happy/fun) class. If the students walk out having had a bit of fun then you have done your job. If they learnt something in the process then that is all good. Sometimes you can combine to two.

The commerical idea beind that being that a happy customer is a repeat customer.

Unfortuantely Nova is a bit of a pay by the hour mental institution where Japan's nutballs come to give their families a rest. Especially voice (unstructured group conversation classes).

But apart from all the regrets I have about coming I don't regret coming. :Pimp2:
