Auto trans light problems

Hey dono if this is the right section for this but when i start the car up the power light flashes for a little while, is this supost to happen?

also when i press the hold button the hold light doesn't come up, any idea wats goin on here i don't supose it is just the globe

According to the Skyline drivers manual the Power light will stay on for 2secs when starting up, this is just a systems check. However, if it flashes for approx 8secs & then go out you have a problem, which sounds like it is in your case. It recommends that you get this checked out asap.

Don't know much about the R32's hold button.

it flashes but i dono if it would be for as long as 8 seconds hrrmmm
