i'm pretty sure it's compatible wit hthe Independant Electronic Boost Control Kit from Jaycar.

i would advise you to get the book from Jaycar aswell (performance electronics for cars it has a yellow mazda on the front)...for only $20 i've heard it makes building the kit much easier and explains everythign a bit better with color pictures, also a good read if your into that kinda stuff.

the book uses the R33 solenoid as it's demo one so i'm pretty sure it's fine to use.

good luck and hope that helped.

You should have the standard one, unless you have an aftermarket boost controller. If you already haven't done so, here's a thread on the IEBC to read (one of many SK helpful write ups :)), & replys no.#40/ 41 have pics to give you an idea where your standard solenoid is located.

The standard R33 solenoid is 12V, which is what you need for the kit.

Yip you have one and yes it's compatable. I have one from a 33 GTR for my 32 (as they don't have as standard). As stated above get the book. It's the best $20 spent if you're building this kit, that and it has heaps of other stuff in it.

The solinoid doesn't need to be adjustable as the IEBC reads load points and then according to your settings the solinoid is either open or closed. (very simplistic version. Check the stagea forum for a full discription)
